Graphic Design and Creative Services

We provide graphic design and creative services in Darwin for organisations that need professional, engaging and practical visual communication. From brand identities and campaign materials to annual reports, publications and digital content, we create visual communication that supports your message and works across print, digital and physical applications.

Our team combines creative thinking with a practical understanding of marketing, communication and content. This means every design is shaped around what you need to achieve, whether that is strengthening your brand, explaining complex information, promoting a campaign or connecting with a specific audience.

What we do

Brand and identity design

A strong visual identity gives your organisation a consistent and recognisable presence. We design logos, brand guidelines, colour palettes, typography and supporting assets that can be applied across print, digital and marketing materials.

Reports, publications and documents

Reports and publications need to present detailed information in a way that feels structured, professional and easy to navigate. We design annual reports, capability statements, strategies, booklets and corporate publications with careful attention to hierarchy, readability and visual consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions

What graphic design services do you provide?

We provide brand and identity design, campaign creative, annual reports, capability statements, corporate publications, brochures, digital content, social media graphics, animation and motion design, advertising assets, signage and promotional materials.

Yes. While Shout by Design is based in Darwin, we work with organisations across the Northern Territory and Australia. Projects can be managed remotely through online meetings, shared files and structured review processes.

Yes. We design annual reports, capability statements, strategies, plans, booklets and other information-rich publications. We organise the supplied content and create professional layouts suitable for print and digital formats.

Yes. We can prepare print-ready artwork that meets the specifications of your preferred printer or production supplier. This may include the correct dimensions, bleed, colour settings and file formats.

We take a collaborative approach to creative and graphic design, working closely with you to make sure the final outcome aligns with your goals and expectations. Here’s how it works:

  1. You send us your requirements, goals, and any reference material or ideas.
  2. We review your brief and discuss any questions to confirm direction and scope.
  3. We provide a clear quote outlining the cost of the design work.
  4. Once approved, you supply all content and images, and we confirm timelines.
  5. We develop the initial design and share a first draft for your feedback (this counts as revision one — all projects include three revisions).
  6. We review your feedback together and apply agreed changes, then supply a second draft (up to 10% changes).
  7. We apply any final refinements as part of the third and final revision and supply the design for final review.
  8. We issue the final invoice. Once payment is received, we supply the final files.

After payment is received, we supply the final files via web transfer (such as WeTransfer). These can be sent to your preferred printer or, in the case of a logo, kept on file for future use.

With a logo design, we supply a range of file formats so your logo can be used across both print and digital applications.

The standard file formats are outlined below.

Print file formats

  1. PDF – suitable for print and easily opened with Acrobat Reader

  2. EPS – a vector file used by printers and designers (requires design software to view)

  3. JPG – solid white background, supplied at 300 DPI

  4. PNG – transparent background, supplied at 300 DPI

Digital / screen file formats

  1. JPG – solid background, supplied at 72 DPI

  2. PNG – transparent background, supplied at 72 DPI

  3. SVG – a scalable vector file commonly used for websites (requires compatible software)

Yes. Once your final invoice has been paid in full, you own the copyright in the final approved artwork we created for you.

Third-party elements such as stock images, fonts, templates or licensed assets remain subject to their original licence terms. Drafts, unused concepts and editable working files are not included unless agreed as part of the project.

We retain the right, as the creative agency, to display the work we’ve created for portfolio and promotional purposes. This allows us to showcase our work and our collaboration with you. We do not sell, license, or otherwise use your artwork beyond this purpose.

Yes, where appropriate.

We may use AI-assisted tools, licensed templates and stock elements to improve efficiency and help keep project costs reasonable. Any third-party tools or assets are used in accordance with the relevant licence terms and are reviewed for suitability before being included in client work.

In most cases, clients supply their own photography. We may occasionally source licensed stock icons, illustrations or other design elements where suitable. We generally avoid generic stock photography when it does not reflect the organisation, project or local Australian audience.

Any templates or stock elements used are adapted and customised to suit the specific project rather than applied “off the shelf”.

Where completely original artwork is required, such as custom illustration or individually created visual assets, this can be included in the project scope and quoted according to the level of work required.
