Our approach
-
1. Understand the purpose
We take the time to understand what the design needs to achieve, who it’s for, and how it will be used. -
2. Structure the content
We organise information in a way that supports clarity, readability, and ease of use. -
3. Design and deliver
We create high-quality visual assets that are practical, consistent, and ready for real-world application.
How our services work together
Define → Create → Deliver

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the creative process work?
We take a collaborative approach to creative and graphic design, working closely with you to make sure the final outcome aligns with your goals and expectations. Here’s how it works:
- You send us your requirements, goals, and any reference material or ideas.
- We review your brief and discuss any questions to confirm direction and scope.
- We provide a clear quote outlining the cost of the design work.
- Once approved, you supply all content and images, and we confirm timelines.
- We develop the initial design and share a first draft for your feedback (this counts as revision one — all projects include three revisions).
- We review your feedback together and apply agreed changes, then supply a second draft (up to 10% changes).
- We apply any final refinements as part of the third and final revision and supply the design for final review.
- We issue the final invoice. Once payment is received, we supply the final files.
After payment is received, we supply the final files via web transfer (such as WeTransfer). These can be sent to your preferred printer or, in the case of a logo, kept on file for future use.
What kind of files do I get with a logo design?
With a logo design, we supply a range of file formats so your logo can be used across both print and digital applications.
The standard file formats are outlined below.
Print file formats
PDF – suitable for print and easily opened with Acrobat Reader
EPS – a vector file used by printers and designers (requires design software to view)
JPG – solid white background, supplied at 300 DPI
PNG – transparent background, supplied at 300 DPI
Digital / screen file formats
JPG – solid background, supplied at 72 DPI
PNG – transparent background, supplied at 72 DPI
SVG – a scalable vector file commonly used for websites (requires compatible software)
Do I own the copyright?
Yes. Once your invoice is paid in full, copyright of the final approved artwork is transferred to you.
We retain the right, as the creative agency, to display the work we’ve created for portfolio and promotional purposes. This allows us to showcase our work and our collaboration with you. We do not sell, license, or otherwise use your artwork beyond this purpose.
Do you use AI, templates or stock?
Yes – where appropriate.
We use AI tools and templates to improve efficiency and help keep costs reasonable for our clients. This is standard industry practice, and our licences allow us to use these tools to create work for our clients.
In most cases, you’ll supply your own images. Occasionally, we may purchase stock vector icons for use within a design. We generally avoid stock photography, as much of what’s available isn’t well suited to a local Australian audience.
Any templates or stock elements used are always adapted and customised to suit the specific project. They are not used “off the shelf”.
If you require completely original artwork without the use of templates or stock assets, please let us know. This may involve specialised skills, such as illustration, and will be quoted separately based on your requirements.
I put the logo draft into an AI tool and want to use that version - can I?
That depends on the AI tool you used and the licence terms attached to it. In many cases, you may be able to use the output, but you’ll need to confirm this directly with the AI/tool provider.
If you’ve commissioned us to design your logo and the project is not yet complete, full payment is still required. Our time and creative work has gone into the concepts and drafts supplied to you.
Copyright of any final files – or where a draft is treated as the final version – does not transfer until the final invoice has been paid in full.
Please note that we’re unable to vectorise or supply production‑ready files for logos generated through third‑party AI tools, as their licence terms may differ.
